Medicare Annual Enrollment

Annual Enrollment occurs every year from October 15th through December 7th for the following year. Medicare Beneficiaries (seniors over 65, or those having Medicare due to a disability) may change their Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription drug plan at this time. As an Independent Agency, Health & Life Strategies LLC, carries most plans that are available in North Georgia. We will evaluate your Provider (doctors and hospitals) preferences, and your Prescription Requirements to determine the plan that is best suited for you.  We will review all the benefits of the plan that you select to ensure that you are comfortable with your selection. All Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription drug plans must be submitted and received by the insurance carriers by December 7^th.  Health & Life Strategies LLC, will take appointments and applications up to December 7^th

If you have a Medicare Supplement, we will be happy to review that with you to see if you qualify for a less expensive plan or insurance carrier.  Medicare Supplement applications can be submitted until the end of any month for a 1^st of the next month effective date at any time of year.

If you are unfamiliar with Medicare Advantage plans, we will be happy to explain them to you to see if it a good option for you.  Whether you chose a Medicare Supplement (Medicap) policy with a Prescription plan, or a Medicare Advantage plan, Health & Life Strategies LLC can help you.  We strongly advise that you have some coverage in addition to Medicare Parts A & B, as the out of pocket costs you could incur could be unlimited without a Supplement or Advantage plan.
